Our editorial purpose
Visit-TZ publishes practical visa and entry guidance for travelers planning a visit to mainland Tanzania or Zanzibar. Our goal is to make complex requirements easier to understand without overstating certainty or replacing a decision made by immigration authorities.
Independent-service disclosure
Visit-TZ is an independent information and optional visa-assistance service. We are not Tanzania Immigration, an embassy, a consulate or another government authority. Immigration authorities decide whether to issue a visa and whether a traveler may enter.
Editorial principles
Accuracy
Claims about eligibility, visa types, fees, documents and entry rules should be traceable to dependable source material.
Clarity
We use plain language, define important terms and separate general guidance from rules that depend on nationality or circumstances.
Independence
Commercial goals must not change the meaning of immigration rules or prevent us from explaining important limitations.
Accountability
We publish review dates, invite error reports and correct material mistakes when they are confirmed.
How we choose and use sources
For visa, immigration, health and entry information, we prioritize primary and authoritative material. Typical sources include immigration departments, ministries, embassies, consulates, airport or port authorities and legislation or formal notices where available.
Secondary sources may help identify a change or explain traveler experiences, but they do not replace an authoritative source for a legal or entry requirement. When sources conflict, we avoid presenting an uncertain claim as settled fact and seek confirmation before making a material update.
Writing and fact-checking workflow
- Define the traveler question. We identify the nationality, visa purpose, destination and decision the page needs to explain.
- Gather source material. We review relevant primary guidance and record the details that support important claims.
- Draft for comprehension. We explain the rule in original language, remove repetition and provide context where readers commonly make mistakes.
- Check critical facts. Eligibility, fees, validity, processing expectations, required documents and entry limitations receive focused review.
- Review links and page signals. We check internal links, titles, descriptions, canonicals, structured data and visible disclosures.
- Publish and monitor. The page receives a review date and is reassessed when a material change is identified.
Review dates and content updates
A visible review or modification date shows when a page last received meaningful editorial attention. Changing a date without reviewing the substance is not an acceptable update.
High-impact pages—such as eligibility, referral-country, fee, application and entry-requirement guides—receive priority when rules change. Minor spelling, layout or accessibility improvements may not change the substantive review date.
Corrections and reader feedback
Readers can report a suspected error through our contact page. A useful report includes the affected page URL, the statement in question and supporting evidence.
We investigate credible reports, correct confirmed errors and update related pages when the same issue appears elsewhere. Material changes should include an updated review date and, when helpful to readers, a brief clarification.
Commercial content and editorial independence
Visit-TZ may offer paid assistance or link to an application service. Service descriptions, calls to action and commercial relationships must not be presented as government requirements.
Payment for a service does not guarantee visa approval or entry. Editorial guidance should explain material alternatives, limitations and risks clearly enough for a traveler to make an informed decision.
Automation and AI-assisted work
Software or AI-assisted tools may support research organization, drafting, translation, formatting, link checks or quality assurance. They do not replace editorial responsibility. Material claims must still be reviewed against appropriate sources before publication.
We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotations, sources, credentials or statistics. Automatically generated output should be corrected or rejected when it is unsupported, repetitive, misleading or unclear.
Limits of our guidance
Visa and entry requirements can change, and an individual decision may depend on passport status, travel history, purpose, documents or instructions issued directly to the applicant. Website content is general information, not legal advice or a guarantee of approval.
Travelers should verify final requirements before departure and follow instructions supplied by the relevant authority or carrier.
